Privacy policy

Last updated: 26 October 2026

This policy explains how personal information is handled when you visit Craftline Studio or send a project enquiry.

Who is responsible?

Eloi Nicod, operating as Craftline Studio, is responsible for handling studio enquiries. For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, email studiocraftline@gmail.com.

Information you send

The contact form collects your name, email address, message and chosen service, plus your band or artist name and multitrack or stem download link if you provide them. Name, email and message are required to send an enquiry; other information helps us understand your project. Please share only files you are entitled to disclose and avoid including sensitive personal information.

Confidentiality of your music

Demos, multitracks, stems and unreleased music are treated confidentially. I do not publish them or use them for promotional purposes without your prior permission.

Why it is used

Your information is used to answer your enquiry, discuss your project, prepare a quote and, where applicable, provide the agreed service. Steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and performance of that contract, form the legal basis for this processing. Security and spam prevention rely on our legitimate interest in protecting the contact service. Legal record-keeping obligations may also apply. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to a newsletter.

Contact form and service providers

Submitting the form sends the information you entered to FormSubmit, which forwards it to the studio’s Gmail inbox. A CAPTCHA check is provided during submission. FormSubmit, the email provider and the site hosting infrastructure process information as needed to operate their services; technical connection information may also be processed for delivery and security.

These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, depending on their infrastructure. Their policies describe their processing practices. See FormSubmit’s privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy. You can also contact the studio directly by email.

Retention

Enquiry correspondence is retained for the time needed to answer and follow up on your request, and, if a project proceeds, to manage the client relationship. Relevant records may be kept longer where required by accounting obligations or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Provider-side retention is governed by the relevant service’s terms and settings.

External media and cookies

The site includes links to external platforms and may display third-party media, including SoundCloud. Loading external media, following a link or continuing to the FormSubmit CAPTCHA can involve cookies and technical data processing by those providers. Their privacy and cookie policies apply to their services. The studio contact form does not require marketing consent.

Your rights

Depending on the applicable legal basis, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email the studio at the address above. Requests are normally answered within one month, subject to the extensions permitted by law. You may also lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority, the CNIL.
